NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule, with the Hawks set for a 17-game regular-season slate under second-year head coach Evan Reifsnyder.

Hunter returns 17 players from last season's squad, providing an experienced core as Reifsnyder enters his second year at the helm. The Hawks finished the 2025 season 5-7-4 overall and 2-2-3 in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC). Hunter earned the No. 4 seed in the CUNYAC Tournament before falling to Lehman in the first round. 

The Hawks will open the 2026 campaign with five consecutive road contests, beginning at New York University on Sept. 2.

Hunter remains on the road with trips to the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Sept. 6, Montclair State on Sept. 9 and Maritime on Sept. 12. The Hawks close the season-opening road swing Sept. 19 at The College of New Jersey.

CUNYAC play begins Sept. 23 when Hunter hosts John Jay at Randall's Island for its home opener. The Hawks then travel to Lehman on Sept. 26 before returning home for a nonconference matchup against Pratt on Sept. 29.

October opens with a three-game homestand as Hunter hosts Albertus Magnus on Oct. 1, followed by conference matchups against York on Oct. 3 and Brooklyn on Oct. 10, with a nonconference meeting against Yeshiva on Oct. 8 also part of the home-heavy stretch.

The Hawks return to the road for conference contests at Baruch (Oct. 14) and The City College of New York (Oct. 17). Hunter concludes the regular season Oct. 21 against Medgar Evers at Randall's Island, with the 3 p.m. matchup also serving as Senior Day.

The CUNYAC Tournament is scheduled to begin Oct. 28. The conference championship is set for Nov. 7 at York College, with kickoff scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
