In game one, the Hawks scored all 14 of their runs in the bottom of the first inning. Junior Short Stop

Arielle Zieff (Staten Island, NY/Port Richmond) finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored and one batted in. Junior outfielder

Rivera who pitched the final three innings with five strikeouts to earn her first career victory. Freshman Genesis Tavarez pitched 3.1 innings for the Yellow Jackets, giving up eight runs, while sophomore Kimberly Battle started the game, but was pulled after giving up six runs during the first inning.
In the second game, the Hawks scored six runs in the first and then eight in the second to take a 14-0 lead. The Yellow Jackets were got a couple of runs on the board, scoring one in the third and two in the fourth, but it wouldn't be enough to catch-up with Hunter who grab their 14th win of the season.
