Allentown, P.A. - The men's basketball team defeated the Lions of Bryn Athyn, 77-75. With the win, the Hawks improve to 1-1 while the Lions drop to 0-2. Senior Frankie Drayton was named to the All-Tournament team at the Scotty Wood Tournament.

Despite being down 17-10 eight minutes into the game, the Hawks fought back with a 16 point run to bring the score to 26-17. The Lions battled back to close the gap to make Hunter's lead only six, gooing into half time with the Hawks leading 41-35.

The Hawks continued to dominate in the second half, with Drayton and Brian Kruger each scoring seven points which enabled the Hawks to take the game, 77-75.

Chris Garcia led the Hawks with 16 points while Jerrell Antley netted 14.

The Hawks are back in action on Monday, November 18th when they play Yeshiva.
