Bronx, NY – The Hawks swept Lehman College in a double-header matchup 10-6 in game one then 13-0 in game two on Wednesday April 24^th.
 
Leslie Dempsey had three RBIs on two hits as Hunter defeated Lehman 10-6 in game one on Wednesday April 24^th. The Hawks scored two runs in the fourth inning then Lehman added on five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead.
 
In the fifth inning, Hunter added on two more runs on a fielding error by Lehman cutting their lead to 5-2. Lehman responded with a homerun to left field in the fifth inning extending their lead to 6-4. Hunter rallied for six runs in the seventh inning to win the game.
 
Holly Isenberg hit an RBI single to center field scoring Meghan O'Shea then Leslie Dempsey hit a two-run RBI double to center field scoring both Julia Lipovac and Samantha Goon for a 7-6 lead. The Hawks added on more runs as Nicole Fillisetti hit a ground-rule double bringing home Leslie Dempsey then Molly Meehan scored Fillisetti on a single to right field.
 
Angelica Iacovetti picked up the win striking out three batters and surrendering only one hit.
 
In the later game, Hunter cruised to a 13-0 shutout victory on 17 hits. The Hawks scored three runs in both the first and second innings, while adding on two runs in the third inning, three in the fourth inning, and capped the victory with two runs in the fifth inning.
 
Meghan O'Shea and Leslie Dempsey each had two RBIs while six other Hawks recorded one RBI. Leslie Dempsey added on three hits and Julia Lipovac hit a triple. Sara Beck picked up the victory striking out a season-high 10 batters and only allowing two hits.
