Men's Fencing Goes 2-5 at the Vassar Invitational

The Hawks took wins against Yeshiva and Army

On November 15 the men's fencing team competed in the Vassar College Invitational. The Hawks competed against seven opponents and came away with two wins; one over Yeshiva and one against Army.

Both of the Purple and Gold's victories came by scores of 16-11. Joseph Bradjic went 16-5 on the day to lead the Sabre Squad, which had a team victory (6-3) vs Army. Julien Dieck went 10-7 for the Epee Squad, which went 3-4 on the day with an overall record of 33-30. Epee registered two victories with scores of 8-1 in each over Florida and Army and a 7-2 victory vs Yeshiva. Although Foil struggled at times, they did earn a team victory vs Yeshiva (5-4), when all three fencers, Jaimee-Ian Rodriguez, Michael Khodorkovsky, and Indiana Kuffer all collected victories. 

The Hawks return to action on November 22 when they compete in the MACFA event.
