Hawks Fall To Brooklyn In Game Two Of The CUNYAC Tournament

Hawks Now Face John Jay In An Elimination Game

BOX SCORE STATEN ISLAND, NY - The Hunter Hawks softball team fell in game two of the CUNYAC/Pepsi Tournament, falling 10-0 to Brooklyn College. The Hawks will take on John Jay College in an elimination game Friday at 4pm.

Brooklyn starting pitcher Kayla Hill, held the Hawks prolific offense in check over 5 innings, holding the team to one hit.

The Brooklyn offense exploded in the top of the 4th inning as the Bulldogs scored 10 runs, seven (six earned) off of Hawks starter Erika Colangelo and three unearned off of relief pitcher Danielle Zurek.

The Hawks will take on John Jay College in an elimination game starting at 4pm. In the teams regular season matchup, the Hawks took both ends of the doubleheader by the score of 8-3.
