Men's Fencing Wraps Up Army Invitational With a Loss

Fencing Drops Meet to Army

West Point, NY - Hunter College men's fencing fell to Army on Saturday at the Army Invitational in West Point with a score of 20-7.

The Hawks started the day off with an 8-1 loss in the foil as Michael Khodorkovsky notched Hunter's lone victory in the third round.

The team got a 5-2 win in the epee with Aaron Buachie, James Ferraiolo and Bernie Slawomirski eaching recording wins.

Andrew Wang and Hector Moran would each get wins in the first round of the saber, but would not score again as they fell, 7-2.

The Hawks return to action on Feb. 5 for a tournament hosted by MIT.
