BOX SCORE 2 Jamaica, NY - Hunter College softball took two games against Baruch College on Tuesday afternoon with scores of 9-1 and 5-2 to improve to 6-0 in conference play.
The Hawks are now 7-5 overall this season and continue to be undefeated in the CUNYAC.
In the first game of the day the Hawks totaled seven hits with
Victoria Slavik leading the way with three hits and four RBI's.
Caroline Bibula led the charge from the in the circle, giving up just three hits to improve to 3-0.Â
Alana Vezza and
Brittney Salvador each tallied two RBI's to help Hunter to a 9-1 victory in five innings.
The Hawks had another solid game in the second of the day as
Taylor Crofts paced the Purple and Gold with three hits, while Salvador followed with two.
Nicole Guzzone and
Leanna Donahue led the team at the pitcher positions as the Hawks took the second with a score of 5-2.
The team returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to the University of Scranton for a doubleheader, starting at 4 p.m.
