Men's Basketball Announces 2018-19 Schedule

The Hawks Are Set For 25 Games

New York, N.Y. – Hunter College men's basketball has announced the 2018-19 campaign for the upcoming season, featuring a 25-game schedule with 11 contests to be played at the Hunter Sportsplex.
 
The Hawks finished last year with 12 wins and an 8-8 CUNYAC record for the most conference wins since the 2009-10 season. This season the team will look to advance past the quarterfinals of the CUNYAC tournament for the first time in four years.
 
The Purple and Gold start the year with a non-conference opener on Tuesday, November 13 at Maritime College before traveling to a two-day tournament at Rutgers-Newark on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17.
 
On Tuesday, November 20 the team hosts their first game at the Hunter Sportsplex when they face SUNY Cobleskill at 7 p.m.
 
Conference play begins on Friday, November 30 against Medgar Evers before they host York College on Tuesday, December 4. The Hawks will play conference rival Baruch College on Friday December 7 in the annual Hunter Homecoming event at 8:30 p.m.
 
Non-conference foe New York University comes to the Upper East Side on Tuesday, December 11.
 
The month of January will highlight 10 games, starting with away games versus Brooklyn College (Jan. 3) and the College of Staten Island (Jan. 5), before returning home for a contest against 2017-18 CUNYAC champion Lehman College on Monday, January 7.
 
The squad ends the month with three-straight home games against Centenary University (Jan. 21), Brooklyn College (Jan. 25) and Connecticut College (Jan. 30).
 
The regular season finishes up on Wednesday, February 13 at John Jay College.
 
The Hawks will prepare to win the program's eighth CUNYAC Championship with the first round of the tournament set for Saturday, February 16.
