Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Hunter College Wrestling team opened the season at the Ned McGinley Invitational, hosted by King's College. The team had 12 wrestlers who competed for the first time at a college event, and the Hawks battled through their bouts.
The standout on the day was Freshman
Timothy Babayev who earned a win in the 174 pound bracket with a first period fall at 1:53 over Paul Trombi of Roger Williams. Hunter will travel to Roger Williams for the Roger Williams Invitational on November 11th.
