Springfield, MA- The Hunter College Hawks attended the Doug Parker invitational this weekend, hosted by Springfield College.  Hunter competed against schools from all over th region including Delaware Valley,Wesleyan, USMMA, New England College, Coast Guard, Trinity, NYU, Wilkes and Springfield.  

Freshman standout Botensky Bauzile continued his early success on the mat with a fall over Noah Lim of Wesleyan, this was in the 133 pound bracket.  In the 149 bracket Abhiram Thotkura took home a decision over Dominic Pelletier of Southern Maine for his first victory on a college mat.  Hadi Rehman won by fall over Samuel DosSantos of Wesleyan in the 184 pound tournament.  

Next weekend Hunter will stay in town traveling to NYU for the first dual matches of the season in the NYU Duals, scheduled to take on Rhode Island College, Western New England and Roger WIlliams.
