FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced the men's basketball weekly award winners, with JP Maaba earning his second Rookie of the Week title.

John Paul Maaba continued to be a key piece of Hunter's starting line up this week. He tallied 28 total points across two games, including a .430 shooting percentage from beyond the arc. He added five rebounds, eight assists, four steals and a pair of blocks for a well rounded stat sheet for the week.

The Hawks return to the court for their home opener on Nov. 18 as they host Manhattanville for a 6 p.m. game.
