FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winner for women's basketball with Alexa Charles of the Hunter College women's basketball team continuing her streak. 

Alexa Charles led the Hawks to their conference opening win over Baruch last week, with a 32 point, five steal, and six assist performance. She went a perfect 6-6 from the line, and shot 50% from three. In a non-conference game earlier in the week, Charles had her second-highest scoring game of the season, dropping 39 against Sarah Lawrence, as she went 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, while grabbing eight steals and dishing out three assists. For the week, the senior averaged 35.5 PPG, while shooting 55% from three.

The Hawks return to the court on Dec. 11 as they continue conference play at CCNY. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.
