Wrestling Announces 2025-26 Schedule

NEW YORK — The Hunter College men's wrestling team has announced its 2025-26 schedule, featuring a competitive slate of duals, tri-meets and invitationals across the Northeast, with several marquee events set for the Hunter Sportsplex.

The Hawks open the season on Nov. 1 at the Ned McGinley Invitational hosted by King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., before heading to New Jersey City University on Nov. 8 for a tri-meet with NJCU and Centenary. Hunter then competes in the Metro Duals on Nov. 16, squaring off against Merchant Marine, NYU and Southern Maine, followed by the New York State Tournament on Nov. 22 in Syracuse.

The squad returns home on Dec. 5 for its annual Homecoming match against Keystone College at the Sportsplex before heading to Western New England and Roger Williams the next day for dual competition. The Hawks wrap up the semester on Dec. 13 at the Nassau Open.

The new year begins Jan. 3 at the Williams College Open, followed by a home dual with Southern Virginia on Jan. 10. Hunter then participates in the Mariner Duals at Merchant Marine on Jan. 11, the New York vs. Pennsylvania Duals in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 17, and hosts Alfred and Kean in a home tri-match on Jan. 24. The month closes with a trip to Trinity College on Jan. 31 for a tri-match with the Bantams, Castleton and Bridgeport.

February action begins with the Scranton Quad on Feb. 8, featuring matches against Scranton, Pitt-Bradford, Utica and King's College (Pa.). The Hawks return home on Feb. 14 to host Arcadia and Emmanuel (Mass.) before competing at the Futures Tournament on Feb. 21 at Alvernia. The regular season concludes with the NCAA Regionals, hosted by Ithaca College from Feb. 27-28.
