GALLOWAY, N.J. — The Hunter College men's track and field team continued its outdoor campaign on Saturday at the Stockton Invitational, hosted by Stockton University, turning in a competitive showing highlighted by a pair of top CUNYAC performances.
Benjamin Landheim paced the Hawks on the track, finishing 12th in the 400 meters with a time of 53.06, the fastest mark among all CUNYAC competitors in the event.
In the field, Dylan Asuncion delivered another strong performance, recording a mark of 12.00 meters in the triple jump to place 10th overall while also leading all CUNYAC athletes.
Hunter's top overall finish of the meet came in the 4x100-meter relay, where the quartet of Marquis Barkley, Kevon Daniel, Mouhammed Diop, and Asuncion combined for a seventh-place result.
The Hawks return to action on March 28 at the Big Hurt Invitational, hosted by St. John's in Queens, New York.
