FLUSHING, N.Y.- Leonardo Kaplan of the Hunter College men's cross country team earned his second consecutive City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) weekly award, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Leonardo Kaplan placed eighth out of 110 runners at the Purchase College Invitational last weekend. He crossed the tape in 20:51.9 in the men's 6k race to earn both Rookie and Runner of the Week titles for the second week in a row.

The Hawks return to action on Sept. 26 for the Golden Eagle Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's Long Island.
