New York, NY – Sophomore setter Zacarias Ripoll (Puerto Plata, D.R./John F. Kennedy) had his second triple-double of the season in the Hawks 3-1 victory over Baruch College and followed that performance up with nine kills and ten digs in a sweep of Lehman in their second match at the second CUNY Athletic Conference Multi-Match Day at the Arc Arena on the campus of Baruch College.

In their second meeting of the season, the Hawks defeated Baruch 3-1 (30-28, 31-29, 28-30, 30-18) led by Ripoll who finished with 13 kills, 15 digs and 48 assists and the hitting showcase of freshmen Pablo Oliveira (Brazil/Newcomers) and Eryk Kowalski (Poland/Environmental Studies) who combined for 41 kills. Oliveira added 16 digs to his 21 kill total.

Also in their second meeting of the season, the Hawks defeated Lehman College (30-20, 30-17, 30-19) led once again by Oliveira and Kowalski who each finished with ten kills, while freshman setter Aaron Colon (Bronx, NY/Lehman) tallied 37 assists.

After today's victories, the Hawks now improve to 14-3 on the season and remain unbeaten in the CUNYAC with a 7-0 record. They will look to improve on those records this Tuesday when they host Medgar Evers College for two CUNYAC matches starting at 6:00 p.m.
