Williamsport, PA – Freshman Greg Pollock (Milburn, NJ/Milburn) and senior Brian Scher (Levittown, NY/MacArthur) earned the Hawks only two victories in a 33-9 defeat to the #8 Ithaca Bombers in the team's opening match of the 15th Annual Bud Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.

Pollock, the freshman 125 pounder out of Millburn, NJ who was subbing in for senior Evan Velez who was unable to make the trip, improved his season mark to 6-2 with a 4:04 pin on the Bombers Anthony Lebbad.

Senior 197 pounder Brian Scher continued his winning ways, defeating Chris Carabello via a 7-2 decision to remain unbeaten and improve his record to 9-0.

The Hawks will now face Springfield College in the next round of competition.
