Williamsport, PA – Three Hawk grapplers were victorious in the team's season match in the first day of competition at the Bud Whitehill Duals on Friday as freshman Greg Pollock (Milburn, NJ/Milburn), sophomore Adam Coleman (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) and senior Brian Scher (Levittown, NY/MacArthur) all earned decisions during a 33-10 match against Spring College in Williamsport, PA.

Pollock earned his second victory of the tournament, improving his season record to 7-2 with a 3-2 decision over Jesse Sgaglione at 125 pounds. His victory was followed by Coleman who picked up a 10-2 major decision over Casey Leslie at 133 pounds. Then at 197 pound, Scher earned his tenth straight victory of the season with a 5-2 decision over Bill Schady.

Hunter will return to action on Saturday when they face Rhode Island College in the challenge bracket.
