Ramapo, NJ – Sophomore outside hitter Wojciech Jakubiak (Poreba, Poland/Grover Cleveland) recorded his first career triple double with a career high 29 kills, 11 assists and 11 digs as the Hawks went the distance with #9 Ramapo College, but fell in five sets (30-22, 30-32, 26-30, 30-20, 15-7) Sunday morning in Mahwah, NJ.

Freshman outside hitter Jerin Kallickal (Kerala, India/Swanhakal) hit a team high .409 with 13 kills and also had ten digs, while freshman middle blocker Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) added 11 kills for the Hawks. Junior setter Zacarias Ripoll tallied a team high 37 assists along with 16 kills.

In their second match of the day, the Hawks were defeated by #10 Newbury College in four sets (30-27, 31-29, 28-30, 30-27). Hunter (1-2) returns to action on Tuesday, when they open up at home with Polytechnic University for a 6:00 p.m. match.
