New York, NY – Senior middle blocker Shandu Foster (Long Island City, NY/Academy of American Studies) and freshman outside hitter Jerin Kallickal (Kerala, India/Swanhakal) each recorded ten kills each to help lead the Hawks to their tenth win of the season , defeating the City College of New York 3-0 (30-15, 30-15, 30-19) at Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday night.

Kallickal also had team highs of eight digs and three solo blocks, while freshman middle blocker Roman Siromakha (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) added seven kills, hitting .538 and junior setter Zacarias Ripoll (Puerto Plata, D.R./John F. Kennedy) finished with 21 assists.

The Hawks will continue conference play on Thursday when they head to Jamaica, NY for two matches against York College with the first match scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
