Brooklyn, NY – The Hunter frontline duo of senior Shandu Foster (Long Island City, NY/Academy of American Studies) and freshman Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) combined for 29 kills to help lead the Hawks to a 3-0 victory over the up and coming New York City College of Technology Thursday night at the Klitgord Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Foster got the Hawks off to a good start, recording seven of his 15 kills in a 30-21 victory in the first set. Then after a close 31-29 win in the second set, Barty helped close things out with eight of his 14 kills towards a 30-25 win in the third set.

The Hawks return home on Saturday when they face Johnson & Wales for a non-conference match at Noon at the Hunter Sportsplex.
