Stevenson, MD – Freshman outside hitter Jerin Kallickal (Kerala, India/Sewanhaka) recorded a match high 11 kills, hitting .611 to lead the Hawks to a 3-0 (30-22, 30-11, 30-14) win over the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the semifinal round of the 2009 ECAC Championship Tournament hosted by Stevenson University in Stevenson, Maryland.

Sophomore outside hitter Wojciech Jakubiak (Poreba, Poland/Grover Cleveland) and freshman middle blocker Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) each added nine kills for the Hawks, while junior setter Zacarias Ripoll (Puerto Plata, D.R./John F. Kennedy) tallied 36 assists in the sweep.

The 2008 ECAC Champions will now play the winner of #2 Stevenson/#3 New Jersey City University at 4:00 p.m.
