Williamsport, PA – Competing in the opening round of the 2010 Bud Whitehill Duals, sophomore Matt Cartusciello (Staten Island, NY/Petrides) and junior RJ Klotz (Ardsley, NY/Ardsley) each earned victories, but the Hawks struggled as a team and drop a 30-12 match against the #4 Ithaca Bombers on Friday morning in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Cartusciello earned a 5-3 decision over John Dale at 165 pounds. Klotz then defeated Keith Dickey 6-4 at 197 pounds. Freshman Ariel Guerrero (Levittown, NY/MacArthur) added six points for the Hawks with a forfeit victory at 124 pounds.

Hunter will now have a rematch with Messiah College in the next round of the duals.
