Eric Barty (Jamaica, NY/Cardozo) hit .545 with 16 kills to lead the Hawks to a 3-0 (31-29, 30-19, 32-30) over #7 Nazareth College in their final match of the Stevens Invitational on Sunday morning in Hoboken, NJ.
Also contributing to today's victory was freshman middle hitter
Braien Otsla (Brooklyn, NY/New Utrecht) who hit .500 with ten kills, followed by sophomore setter
Brendan Feng (Jackson Heights, NY/Hunter) who had a match high 47 assists, and sophomore libero
Sam Martin (Northport, NY/Northport) had a match high 14 digs.
Hunter (2-4) has a week off before opening up conference play on Tuesday, February 2 when they head to the Bronx, NY to face Lehman College for a 7:00 p.m. match.
