Hackettstown, NJ – On Friday, December 10, the wrestling squad headed back to Centenary College for a dual match against the Cyclones. The Hawks were not on top of their game as they struggled throughout each weight class and could not get themselves in the win column.
Hunter had a rough day as the tone was set from the start with two major decisions and a pin, giving tremendous momentum to the host Cyclones. In addition to the team's struggle, the 174 and heavy weight classes were forfeited. Alan Djokic came closest to a win for the Hawks as he lost by a 7-1 decision in 184 weight class to Eric Torres.
The Hawks will look to bounce back from the loss when they head to Collegeville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 8 when they take part in the North-South Dual at Ursinus College.
