New York, NY - On Friday, December 3, the men's wrestling team played host to the Ducks of the Stevens Institute of Technology in front of a Homecoming crowd. The Ducks proved to be too much to handle as the Hawks only managed to come up with two wins as they fell by a score of 32-12.

Senior Eduardo Delgado, wrestling at the 157 weight class, got the Hawks on the board first as he pinned David Browne in 4:15. Junior Sean Messina, wrestling in the final match of the day at 141 pounds, also pinned his counterpart, Fran Pestana, in 3:58. Chris Gogatz (133 weight class) came close to a win, but Andrew Boehm held him off by a score of 6-5.

With the loss, the Hawks continue to search for their first win of the season while the Ducks even out their record to 3-3. Up next, Hunter will travel to Hackettstown, New Jersey to take on Centenary College on Friday, December 10 at 7:00 pm.
