RESULTS

Hackettstown, NJ –On Saturday, December 8^th the wrestling team traveled to Jersey to compete against the Cyclones of Centenary College in their second dual match-up of the season.  After a strong showing from the first two weight classes, Hunter ultimately fell 28-12, dropping their record to 1-1 this season.

Wrestling at 125 pounts, freshman Jaydon Rice had a 4-2 decision over Erick Orellana.  Followed was Kenneth Albert, who also had a decision over his opponent with a score of 6-1.  The Hawks wouldn't win another wight class until 184 pounds, when Dennis Melendez had a 3-2 decision over Centenary's Khalid Shakir. Senior Musa De'Reese had a close 3-2 decision over his opponent.

The Hawks are back in action on Tuesday, December 11^th when they host the Mariners of USMMA at 6:00pm.
