New York, N.Y. - The men's soccer team was defeated by the Hawks of SUNY New Paltz on Tuesday, October 16th, 1-0.  With the loss, Hunter falls to 2-13, while New Paltz improves to 4-9-2.

Hunter was out shot 34-2, with goalkeeper Emmanuel Aprilakis recording seven saves for the day. 

New Paltz got ahead early in the first half with a goal at minute 35 by Sam Wasser of a shot in the box off a blocked shot.  Hunter was unable to retaliate as neither team scored in the second half, leaving the game as a 1-0 win for SUNY.

The Hawks are back in action when they play John Jay on October 19th.
