New York, N.Y -  To kick-off the 2013 Hunter College Homecoming, the Hunter Hawks welcomed the NYU Violets to the Hunter College Sportsplex. The Violets came away with the 29-14 victory. With the loss the Hawks fall to 0-1 in dual competition.

The Hawks started off the match winning the first 2 matches by Kenny Albert and Jake Lang. Jesse Bader would also record a victory, pinning his opponent.

The Hunter Hawks wrestling team returns to action Sunday, December 8^th when they travel to Hackettstown NJ to compete in the 2013 Bob Quade Open.
