Braien Otsla's 12. Matthew Ng also led the Hawks defensively with 14 digs along with
Eric Lodde (14) and
Braien Otsla (10).
After falling in the first game (22-25), Hunter regrouped and won the next two games (25-19 & 33-31). The Hawks minimized their errors to a total of three in the second set then exploded for 22 kills in the third set. New Jersey City went on to defeat Hunter in the final two games to win the match 3-2. New Jersey City's Besmir Arslani had a game-high 25 kills leading his team to victory. Hunter falls to 11-11 overall.
The Hawks head to Mahwah, NJ on Thursday, March 28
th to face Ramapo College at 7:00 p.m. Hunter will look to end their current three game losing streak.
