Jamaica, NY – Hunter won their regular season finale match against York (NY) 3-0 (28-26, 25-12, 25-23) on Tuesday, April 2^nd. The Hawks secure the No.2 seed in the 2013 CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Championships.
 
Matthew Ng had a game-high 10 kills while Nino Holt added nine kills for the Hawks. Stanley Martinez collected 30 assists as the Hawks totaled 38 team kills for a .333 attack percentage.
 
Nino Holt, Stanley Martinez, and Colin Horn each recorded a service ace. Alexandru Barbulescu had a team-high three solo blocks while Moshood Jinad assisted on two blocks.
 
Defensively, Stanley Martinez led Hunter with five digs, Eric Lodde had four digs, and both Matthew Ng and Colin Horn had three each.
 
Hunter won in straight-sets sweeping York College on the road. Their record improves to 13-13 overall and a 12-2 CUNYAC conference record. The 2013 CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Championships will begin on Tuesday, April 9^th with the No. 2 seed Hunter hosting the No. 7 seed John Jay.
