New York, N.Y – The men's volleyball team grabbed their first win of the season against Cairn University on Tuesday night, 3-1. With the win the Hawks improve to 1-4.

After dropping the first set 20-25, the Hawks rebounded to take the next three sets 25-17, 27-25, and 25-23.

Nino Hot lead the Hawks with 11 kills and three kills, while Stanley Martinez notched 33 assists. Alexandru Barbulescu added nine kills while Mehmet Ozturk added seven.  

Ryan Garven led Cairn with a game high of 15 kills and six digs.

The Hawks are back in action on February 5^th when they compete against Ramapo College.
