New York, N.Y - The wrestling team dropped a hard fought match to the Cyclones of Centenary College on Saturday night, 16-32. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 4-11.

Dennis Melendez had a major decision over Ragsdale, 12-3.Â
Patryk Kopczynski (285) won by decision 9-4 over Griese.
"We wrestled well and tough against a very experienced and strong team, who finished top 5 in the country last year. We won 3 of the 6 contested matches today. Jaydon, Dennis, and Patryk each won their matches, as Kenny won by forfeit. Patryk continues to impress as he finds a way to score in every position.
Jaydon Rice stepped up and showcased his abilities as he defeated the #10 ranked wrestler and returning national qualifier, Zach Huxford. Jaydon has the ability to surpass his goals and reach the top of the podium if he believes in himself. We are looking forward to the postseason," says head coach
Chris Mazzatta.
The Hawks are back in action on February 16th when they compete against Wesleyan and Johnson & Wales.
