Bronx, N.Y – The men's volleyball team picked up a pair of wins at the Lehman Tri-Match on Saturday, February 8
th. With the wins, the Hawks improve to 3-4, 2-0 CUNYAC.
The Hawks defeated the Cougars of Medgar Evers 3-0, with
Steven Tarquinio leading the Hawks with 12 kills and two blocks.
Stanley Martinez tallied 13 assists and
Alexandru Barbulescu had six service aces.
The men then went on to sweep the Beavers of CCNY, with a perfect score of 3-0. Martinez led the Hawks with nine kills and 27 assists, while
Nino Hot added eight kills and two digs.
Eric Lodde tallied 13 digs, while Barbulescu added eight kills.
The Hawks are back in action on February 13
th when they compete against John Jay.
