New York, NY – The Hunter College men's volleyball team continued their winning ways Thursday night by sweeping Lehman College at the Hunter College Sportsplex.
The Hawks posted scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-21 en route to their 7
th consecutive win and improving to 10-8 overall and 9-1 in CUNYAC play.
Steven Tarquinio posted eight kills, while hitting .300 and
Matthew Ng had seven kills and hit .667.
Alexandru Barbulescu chipped in with six kills and hit .500.
Stanley Martinez dished out 30 assists while
Eric Lodde had six digs for the Hawks.
The Lightning (8-14; 3-8 CUNYAC) got 13 kills from Jaleel Lino and 24 assists from Roberto Perez.
The Hawks return to action Sunday when the travel to Jersey City to participate in the NJCU Tri- Match. They will take on NYU at 1pm and NJCU at 3pm.
