BOX SCORE New York NY - The Hunter volleyball team lost a heartbreaker to York College on Friday afternoon in the CUNYAC quarterfinals.
The Cardinals posted scores of 28-26, 18-25, 15-25, 25-16, 15-11 for the comeback victory.
The Hawks were strong at the net all game with freshman
Steven Tarquinio leading the way with 12 kills and 12 total blocks with a .357 hitting percentage. 2
nd Team CUNY All-Star Alex Barbulescu was also active at the net, he chipped in with nine kills and five total blocks,
Ben Crusinberry also had nine kills and a team-high .438 hitting percentage.

Stanley Martinez had one of his best all-around games of the season smashing nine kills and nine total blocks to go along with 38 assists and a team-high 13 digs. Senior
Matthew Ng was also strong compiling seven kills and five total blocks.
The Cardinals were led by their three stars, Bryan Williams smashed home 17 kills and Leszek Stankiewicz had 15 kills and Randy Adams had 10.
The Hawks finish the 2014 season with a 17-14 record.
