ALL ALUMNI EVENTS ARE STILL BEING HELD


NEW YORK, NY - On Saturday January 24 the Hunter College Wrestling team will be hosting the University of Scranton and SUNY Cortland in a wrestling tri-match. Both the Hawks and Cortland come into the meet nationally ranked in the latest d3wresltle.com poll. 

The Red Dragons are ranked #13, with 24 points while the Hawks are ranked #19, with 22 points. 

The Hawks feature three wrestlers nationally ranked in the latest NWCA Individual Rankings. 

Cary Palmer, 141lbs, Junior – Palmer went 3-0 at the North/South Duals and is currently ranked #3 the NWCA at 141lbs. His season record is 21-2.
 
Jesse Bader, 165, Junior – Bader is currently ranked #9 at 165lbs by the NWCA after his 3-0 performance at the North/South Duals. His season record is 22-4
 
Dennis Melendez, 197, Junior – Melendez went 2-1 at the North/South Duals, losing to #2 wrestler at 197lbs in his final match. Melendez cracks the rankings this week at #8. His season record is 18-6
