BOX SCORE NEW YORK, NY - The Hunter men's volleyball team extended their CUNYAC winning streak to 12 games with a straight set victory over Brooklyn College on Tuesday night. The Hawks won in three sets by the scores of 25-8, 25-5 and 25-7.
The Hawks dominated play in in all three sets using strong and efficent attacks to sweep the Bulldogs. In the first set, as a team, the Hawks hit .682% smashing 16 kills.
Ben Crusinberry and
Benjamin Cassidy led the Hawks attack each recording six kills while hitting .667%. Gary Anderson Jr and
Mehmet Ozturk each smashed five kills, while Anderson Jr had 20 assists and a team-high nine digs.
In the second and third sets the Hawks combined for 16 kills while hitting .427%.
The Hawks return to action Thursday when they will travel to New Paltz, NY to take on #3 SUNY New Paltz.
