BOX SCORE OWINGS MILLS, MD - The Hunter men's volleyball season came to an end on Saturday April 18, in the ECAC Semifinals, falling to #2 seed and host, Stevenson University in straight sets. The Hawks finish the 2015 campaign 21-14, the teams first 20 win season since 2012.
The Hawks lost by scores 25-20, 25-15 and 25-17.
The attack of the Hawks was led by
Ben Crusinberry, who totaled six kills, five digs and three total blocks.
Brandon Kohler and
Mehmet Ozturk each chipped in with five kills and one block assist each.
Setter Gary Anderson Jr, totaled 14 assists and 13 digs, both led the team in each category.
The Hawks were competitive in the first set, keeping the #2 seeded Mustangs close. They pulled to within one point after an ace by Crusinberry to make the score 15-14 but the Mustangs would score six of the next eight points to take a 21-16 lead and close out the set on back-to-back kills to win 25-20.
