Bristol, RI - Hunter College wrestling competed in three matches at the New England Duals this past weekend, falling to Bridgewater State University, Roger Williams University and Williams College. 

In the 24-21 loss to Bridgewater State, five Hawks got wins in the match. Jaydon Rice earned a win over the Bears' Andrew Valdina by fall, while David Naupari got a 7-4 decision over his opponent. William Heine, Nick Brutus and Maksimillian Garkusha each followed with wins to end the match. 

The Hawks fell in the second match of the day with a score of 47-0 against Roger Williams University.

Hunter ended the day with a 45-9 loss to Williams College. Rice and Brutus were the only Hawks to notch wins in the match.

The Hawks return to action on Friday, Feb. 6 when they play Messiah College.
