BOX SCORE 2 New York, NY - Hunter College men's volleyball went 2-0 at the City College of New York Athletic Conference multi-match tournament on Saturday, defeating Medgar Evers College and John Jay College.
The Hawks went into just three sets with the Cougars, defeating them with scores of 25-5, 25-11 and 25-12.
Ben Crusinberry led the team with 10 kills, while
Steven Tarquinio followed with 7. Nicholas Sanchez tallied 17 assists in the win.
Later in the day Hunter faced John Jay College, earning a comfortable lead for most of the match before defeating the Bloodhounds in three sets.
Blake Hogan led the Hawks with 13 kills in the win, while
Joseph Muir recorded a team-high 13 digs.Â
The Hawks will return to action tomorrow when they host CCNY at 6 p.m.
