BOX SCORE 2 Hoboken, NJ - Hunter College men's volleyball went 1-1 at the Stevens Tech Tri-Match on Sunday, falling to Stevens before defeating College of Staten Island.
After being ranked #15 in the AVCA polls last week the Hawks are now 6-2 overall this season and 2-0 in conference play.
The Hawks fell in three sets to the Ducks, featuring scores of 25-17, 25-16 and a close set of 25-23.
Ben Crusinberry led the team with 11 kills in the match, while only committing two errors for a .333 hitting percentage.
Joseph Muir led Hunter defensively with 11 digs.
Hunter bounced back in the match against the Dolphins, dominating Staten Island in three sets with scores of 25-9, 25-12 and 25-15. Crusinberry once again led the Hawks offensively with 10 kills and just one error for a stellar .500 hitting percentage.
Benjamin Cassidy notched 10 assists while
Daniel Dobrogowski led the team with 10 digs.
The Hawks return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 10 when they host CCNY at the Hunter Sportsplex at 6 p.m.
