New York, NY - Hunter College wrestling went 1-1 at the Hunter Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon, falling to Delaware Valley University before getting a win over Mount Saint Vincent College.

Delaware Valley 40, Hunter 7
Two Hawks earned individual wins in the loss to Delaware Valley as Anthony Fitzsimmons started it off with a 6-1 defeat of his opponent at 184. Maksimilian Garkusha then score three more points for the Hawks by getting a 5-2 win at the 197 lb weight class.

Hunter 30, Mount Saint Vincent 26
Four Hunter wrestlers won by forfeit to lead 24-3, but Mount Saint Vincent pulled ahead 26-24 before the last match. John Sherlock managed to win by fall against his opponent at 149, scoring six points and solidifying the Hunter victory.

The Hawks return to action on Jan. 28 when they travel to the NEWA/Metro Duals.
