BOX SCORE Old Westbury, N.Y. - Hunter College men's soccer dropped a game on Thursday night to the College of Old Westbury with a score 3-0.
The Hawks fall to 3-11-1 overall this season and remain 3-4 in the CUNYAC.
The Panthers took the early lead 22 minutes into the game, scoring a goal from in the box. Hunter's
Esteban Correa recorded a shot for the Hawks but it was saved by the Panther's goalkeeper. Ten minutes later Old Westbury struck again, getting the ball into the back of the net to make the score 2-0 at halftime.
The Purple and Gold struggled to catch up, falling behind even further when the Panthers scored again midway through the second half.

Daniel Pesantes and Correa each attempted shots in the remaining minutes of the game, but did not convert as Hunter fell, 3-0.
The Hawks registered nine shots to the Panther's 24 in the loss. Hunter goalkeeper
Noah Dougherty had six saves.
The team returns to action on October 14 when they face Brooklyn College at 12 p.m.
