BOX SCORE 2 New York, NY - Hunter College men's volleyball won their ninth match of the season on Saturday at the Hunter Tri-Match, defeating St. Joseph's College - LI and Emmanuel College.
The Hawks have now won four-straight matches and are 9-2 this season.

The Purple and Gold took the match against the Golden Eagles in three sets with scores of 27-25, 25-16 and 25-17, hitting .305 while holding St. Joseph's to a .118 hitting percentage.
Ben Crusinberry led the squad on offense with 14 kills, while
Brandon Kohler and
Michael Jazgarski each notched 11. Kohler committed just one error for a .714 hitting percentage as
Nicolas Sanchez paced the Hawks with 39 assists.Â
Joseph Muir had a team high 11 digs in the win and
Steven Tarquinio recorded five blocks.

The Hawks took their second match of the day when they defeated the Saints in three sets, featuring scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-16. Hunter recorded almost twice the amount of kills in the victory as Emmanuel, tallying 43 to the Saint's 23.Â
Crusinberry led the Hawks for the second-straight match with 14 kills, while Jazgarski followed with 12. Sanchez continued to lead at the setter position with 33 assists.
Hunter returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 15 when they travel for a match at Ramapo College.
