BOX SCORE 2 New York, NY - Hunter College men's volleyball began CUNYAC play on Monday by hosting a Tri-Match at the Hunter Sportsplex where the squad got wins over City College of New York and York College.
The team improves to 12-2 overall and is 2-0 in the league after three-set sweeps over both conference opponents.

The Purple and Gold got their first three-set win of the day against CCNY, shutting out the Beavers with scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-17.
Ben Crusinberry and
Brandon Kohler led the Hawks with 11 and nine kills, respectively, while Kohler maintatined a .750 hitting percentage.
Daniel Dobrogowski added six kills and zero errors to hit 1.000 on the match.
Benjamin Cassidy paced the Hawks with 36 assists and four blocks.Â
The Hawks recorded a .419 hitting percentage as a team, while holding the Beavers to a negative mark of -.093.

Hunter won their seventh-straight match by defeating York later in the day in three sets featuring scores of 25-8, 25-10 and 25-14.Â
Cassidy tallied a match-high 12 kills, while Dobrogowski followed with eight kills and no errors in the victory.
Nicolas Sanchez recorded 30 assists and
Joseph Muir led the team on defense for the second time, notching nine digs.
The Hawks totaled 10 service aces to help them to the victory, holding the Cardinals to zero.
The squad returns to action on Tuesday, Feb. 28 when they host the College of Staten Island at 6 p.m.
