Collegeville, PA. - Hunter College wrestling went 0-3 at the North/South Duals on Saturday in a meet hosted by Ursinus College.
The Hawks fell to Messiah College, Ursinus and Camden County Community College, getting several individual wins along the way.
Messiah 46, Hunter 7
Sean Miller and
Declan Gray earned Hunter's two victories in the match as Miller took down his opponent by an 8-6 decision at 157 lbs. Gray then found a win by 16-4 major decison at 197.
Ursinus 47, Hunter 6
Miller followed up his first win of the day by defeating his Ursinus opponent for Hunter's solo victory in the match. Miller pinned Jake Folk at 4:14 to score six points for the Purple and Gold.
Camden County CC 36, Hunter 22
Miller continued an undefeated day by pinning his opponent at 2:51 in the match against Camden County. Hunter's Liam Heine got a win at the 165 weight class by a 13-3 major decison, while two Hawks earned wins by forfeit.
The Purple and Gold return to action on January 13 when they compete at the NY / VA Duals in Riverdale, N.Y.
