BOX SCORE 2 New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's volleyball earned a victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday before falling in three sets to #1 ranked Springfield College at the Hunter Sportsplex.
The Hawks improved to 9-5 overall this season and continue to be undefeated in CUNYAC play with wins over Brooklyn, John Jay and CSI.

The Purple and Gold started the day with a win over the Dolphins with scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-15.Â
Daniel Dobrogowski led the offensive effort, tallying nine kills and a .538 hitting percentage, while
Blake Hogan and
Matthew Zukowski followed with seven each.Â
Joseph Muir recorded eight digs, while
Alec Helford tabbed 31 assists in the win.
The Hawks held the Dolphins to a .118 hitting percentage to post nine victories on the season so far.

Hunter posted a solid effort against the Pride, eventually falling in three sets featuring scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-18.
The Pride had a hard time stopping Zukowski, who recorded 13 kills in the match, committing just two errors for a .478 hitting percentage. Muir earned eight digs and Helford paced the offense with 29 assists in the loss.
The Hawks return to action on Tuesday, March 5 when they host Dominican University at 3 p.m.
