Springfield, MA - Hunter College wrestling finished up a tri-match on Saturday, hosted by Western New England University, where the Hawks went 0-2 on the day.

Hunter is now 4-4 overall this season after falling to WNE with a score of 36-12 and Williams College, 40-6.

Andrew Cota had a solid performance at the tri-match, getting two wins at 133. Cota defeated his WNE opponent by a 5-2 decision before taking down Ben Morton from Williams later in the day.

Sean Miller also went undefeated on Saturday, winning his first match by fall over WNE, before getting a decision over Brendon Seyfried of Williams.

Gevorg Arakelov rounded out the Hunter victories, defeating his Western New England opponent at the 174 weight class.

The team returns to action on Saturday, February 2 when they host Centenary at 12 p.m.
